I would like to tell you about an experiment done many years ago by two scientists Dutton and Aron. The Venue was at the suspension bridge Capilano Canyon in Canada
Men standing at different heights on the bridge were given a photo of a woman that can be interpreted in different ways, and they were asked to invent a short story based on that picture.
Surprisingly, story by men at a higher unstable suspension contained more sexual imaginary than those by men at lower stable suspension.
The conclusion was that fear has got stimulant effect on sex. I guess an explanation for it. The brain has a “module” of arousal called RAS (Reticular Activating System). This part get stimulated both during sexual arousal and during arousal due to fear. There may be connections from the “fear center” and the “sex center” to RAS. The current from “fear center” may spread not just to RAS but to “sex center” also. It may be either by a direct connection or a connection through the RAS.
If fear can stimulate sex.., can sex stimulate fear?… No such evidences are available. Essentially the connection said above is valve like, electric current conducting to only one side.
Is it not an information that you can use? Why not take your “one way” crush to the nearest suspension bridge before you “explode” your wish? Best of luck!!
