Depression is an imbalance of some chemicals in our brain (you can read more about it at all about depression ). To maintain a normal level of these chemicals (especially serotonin, nor-adrenaline and dopamine ), your brain need an adequate supply of all nutrients; especially glucose as energy and amino-acids are building blocks.
To get more glucose, eat glucose powder directly or do as below
Eat more fruits
- Chew more (up to 24 times) before you swallow a mouthful of food. It will help in fast digestion.
- Eat less fat
- Eat more carbohydrate (wheat, rice, honey, molasses, cane sugar, stevia )
- Eat in less amounts but more frequently
To get more amino acids to brain,
Eat proteinaceus food (meat, fish)
- Do not mix proteinaceus food with fatty food. That will affect absorption
Special food to beat depression
